Give Thanks Wall Art

I love doing projects with Cutting Edge Stencils! My first project using their product was my Pallet Dandelion , next I went a little more adventurous and did an Accent Wall and now I did an easier and quick Thanksgiving project!
 Material
paint
paper plate and paper towels
Give Thanks vinyl from Silhouette
I already had my wood painted in yellow and I used my Silhouette to cut the words Give Thanks. I wanted the words to be in yellow that is why I painted the wood in yellow first and then I added the letters.
After that, I used white paint to cover the entire wood. After the paint was all dried, I applied orange paint using the Lily Scroll Craft Stencil and peeled off the vinyl letters.

I really love the way it came out!
Cutting Edge Stencils has a great tutorial on How to Stencil on their site. It is worth to check it out before you start any stencil project!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Edible Pumpkin Patch

My favorite part of Fall is to take the children to  Schnepf Farms! It is a whole day event that includes pumpkin patch, hay rides, pig races, petting Zoo, corn maze, yummy food, bon fire & marshmallows roasting and fireworks! So fun!!
Since we love pumpkin patch so much, I created our own Edible Pumpkin Patch! Super easy and fun to make! Enjoy!

Material
Pumpkin Peeps and green licorice
round styrofoam
tags from Bird's Halloween Cupcake Shop printable set
straws or sticks
twine or ribbons
toothpick and glue gun
picked fence(I bough mine at Hobby Lobby)
paper(to cover the styrofoam)
extra orange sprinkles(optional)

To assemble the pumpkins:
I used extra orange sprinkles to cover the sides and bottom of the pumpkins. Cut a small piece of green licorice, add to the top of your pumpkin(for the stem) and insert a toothpick to the bottom of the pumpkin

Cover the styrofoam with crepe paper, add your bunting, pumpkins and fence. If you don't have a fence, you can easily make one using white card stock. Complete the look by adding some cute ribbon around the styrofoam.
There! Your own Pumpkin Patch!

Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin Crate Decor

I decided to change my Fall display a little bit this week! I got a small crate from a thrift store for $1 last month and I was using it to storage some craft supplies.  It was the perfect thing to do my Pumpkin Crate decor! Love the way the display reminds me of an Autumn Farmer's Market!
For the Fall banner tutorial, click HERE.

Material: raffia, crate and small pumpkins
Just added the raffia to the crate and filled with pumpkins!

Doesn't it look like I just got it from the Farmer's Market? Only that this one is not edible! :)

 Another way to display them!

Halloween or Fall Wreath {depending on the bow}

I had an idea in mind for my Halloween wreath. I wanted to make some of my Metal Flowers and spray paint them in orange. Got the ribbon from Michaels for 50%off , wreath from the dollar store, couple of soda cans and got to work. The funny thing is even though I like the way it turned out{I think the spray paint is too glossy for my taste}, I like it better using raffia for the bow{the glossy doesn't stick out as much}. So, it looks like that I now have a wreath for Halloween and Fall! Just need to switch the bow! Which one is your favorite?

Material
Wreath, spray paint, ribbon, soda cans flowers and hot glue
For the soda cans flowers tutorial, click HERE.

Spray the flowers and the wreath, glue the flowers to the wreath and a dd a bow! Done!

Simple Fall Display

I finally finished my Fall display and already have new ideas to do another one! Just love, love the Fall colors!
It is simple so it blends well with the rest of the house decor.

For the Fall Vases made out of glass bottles tutorial, click HERE.

I found the perfect branch in my backyard and I simply used orange spray paint to make it more Fall look.

I already had the ceramic pumpkins and decided to display them inside glass vases. For the DIY Pedestal vases tutorial, click HERE.

Add some candy corn to a glass vase to add some colors to your display and to always have something sweet! This is my children favorite Fall decor! :)

By next week the Fall display will be a little different! :)
Happy Fall!
