Luau Party Ideas

Last Saturday we celebrated the end of Summer with a

LUAU Party!

I found the perfect Luau party supplies on Party Pail website. The collection is called Pineapple Punch Party Decorations. From invitations, decorations, tableware and favors, this collection has everything you need to host an awesome Luau.

Here are the details from our Luau! Enjoy!

The table with appetizers, favors and desserts was set up by the pool. Instead of using the  Pineapple Centerpiece as centerpiece, I hung them from the umbrella along with some paper lanterns.

Some of the appetizers were Caprese Antipasticks, a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetable platter.

Our guests were greeted by this fun Luau Party sign!

I served the vegetables and fruits on Pineapple Punch Serving Trays and added a cute pineapple made of green and yellow peppers. :)

I used the Pineapple Punch Confetti to adorn the dessert spoons and the Caprese Sticks. I made Berry Kabobs using the Palm Tree Stir Sticks.

Guest took home Palm Tree Favors filled with chocolate kisses.

We served Hawaiian Chicken and Pineapple Kabobs and Grilled Vegetable Kabobs. Yummy!

At the Drink Station, guests choices were Efferve Lemonade, Crush Strawberry Soda, LandShark, Barefoot Riesling Wine and Jose Cuervo Margaritas. Parasol Picks, straws inside Coconut Cup, Pineapple Punch Beverage Napkins and Pineapple Punch Cups set the Luau mood to the table.

Other decorations around the pool were the Pineapple Punch Dangling Cutouts and Bamboo Weave Paper Lanterns.

Aloha and Cheers!

Seafood Feast

We are enjoying every time we have before

the school/sports craziness begins!

This past weekend we had a Seafood Feast!

I love seafood and the nautical decor so

this get together was a lot of fun to style!

I got most of the Nautical Decorations from Oriental Trading.

To set the nautical feeling, I hung Fish Nets, Sea Life Decorations and Nautical Lanterns.

The table was decorated using Red Lanterns, Starfish Table Decor, Sea Life Decorations, starfish and seashells.

I used the Turquoise Table Runner for the table and set each seat using the Lobster Place card. The cute Lobster lollipop is also from Oriental Trading! I also set up a Tableware Station with napkins, plates, utensils and straws by using the Rope Handle Baskets.

As for appetizers, we had Caprese on a stick decorated with Nautical Flags, Stuffed Scallops, Clams and Shrimp Kabobs.

The main dish were the crabs! We enjoyed Alaskan King Crab and Snow Crab with corn and rice.

I bought a Velvet Cake from Walmart and decorated with the Nautical Cake Bunting and the cute Lobster beads!

Fun afternoon with friends!

Luau Party 2014

We invited some of our friends to our

LUAU to help us celebrate an awesome Summer Break!

Oriental Trading truly has everything for you to throw an awesome LUAU! Scroll down to see my must have LUAU supplies.

The main table was decorated using a raffia fence as a backdrop, Hibiscus Print Parasols and Fresh Flowers as props. The Bamboo Tablecloth, Palm Leaves, Hibiscus Table Skirt, Hibiscus Cocktail Parasols, seashells and starfish gave an Island feel to our table.

I made mini fruit kabobs using the Hibiscus Picks, Caprese Salad, and Fruit Salad.

I love the Bright Hibiscus Serving Plates! they come with a variety of colors to bright your table!

We set up a Tiki Bar by using our Tabletop Luau Hut and decorating it with Paper Lanterns, Hibiscus Print Parasols and Hawaiian Leis.

At the Tiki Bar, guests had a variety of beverages such as water, Fruit Punch, Beer and Wine.

The Beer bottles got a festive look by using the Hibiscus Bottle Covers .

I served the fruit punch for the kids in these cute Palm Tree Shaped Cups.

The utensils and straws were displayed inside the Tribal Cups.

Upon their arrival, guests received a Lei, Flower clip and straw hats(for the guys).  They took home Sand Buckets filled with Luau fun finds! Some of the favors were, Tribal Cups, Fans, Palm Tree Shaped Cups, Hawaiian Leis, Gummy Flip Flop,

We had a really fun time!

Some of the outdoor decor were Paper Lanterns, Tropical Centerpiece, Bamboo Aloha Sign and  Luau Celling Decorations.

Pool Party Summer 2014

Summer vacation is not complete without a Pool Party!  It's also a great way to keep in touch with the children's school friends!

I found the cutest Pool Party Supplies at Oriental Trading.

I set up the table by the pool using my table top Luau Hut but instead of using the raffia cover, I taped the personalized Swimming "Pool Party" Banner  along with Beach Ball Lights to the top of the hut and tapped the Pool Party Tableskirt around the table.

I added some Beach Balls that were also used as favors to complete the look.

As for snacks, I served Goldfish and Lifesavers inside Beach Play sets, colored Twizzlers(pool noodles), Swedish Fish and a variety of Sun Chips.

They also enjoyed vegetables and fruits in the shape of a beach balls. :)

The children took home some cool favors like Beach Ball cups, Beach Play set, Pinwheels and Mini Beach Balls.

The drinks were available for the children pool side inside this cute Inflatable Beach Ball Cooler and pizza was served using the Splish Splash tableware.

At the end of the party, the kids had fun hitting the  Beach ball Piñata that was filled with toy and candy!
