Upcycle - Necklace made out of Soda Cans

After making all my Metal Flowers out of soda cans from last week's project, I end up with a lot of soda can bottoms.
Found a way to use some of them(still figuring out other ways to use them) by making this upcycle project!!
Would you have guessed that this set was made out of soda cans?

You will also need pliers and sandpaper for this project.

This was the necklace that I had in mind but didn't like it all that much.

Cut the bottom of the can to a size that fits your taste. Using a sandpaper, sand it all around the circle to avoid any sharp spots.
Using the hammer, drill 2 small holes to each side of the circles.
Using the round rings, conect the circles to the chain.

  5. What an unusual idea! I love the thought of recycling soda cans this way, but I think the size of the disks would be a bit bold for me. I am going to keep my eyes open for something with a bit smaller diameter though. . .

  14. HOW COOL IS THAT? I think taking it one step further by maybe embossing the earrings with a little design would pump-it-up! Just a thought. Thanks for the easy to follow tutorial going to try this for sure. Guess I better dig through my recycling before driving it to the dump haha!
