Wild For You Valentine's Party

This party was a lot of fun to style! When I found the cutest Zebra Party Supplies from Oriental Trading, I knew I wanted to style a Wild For You Valentine's party!
Their Zebra Party Supplies match perfectly with their Wild For You Valentine's Supplies.
To make the backdrop, I covered 2 foam boards with a black cloth and added the Zebra Paper fans using safety pins. I also hot glued the Glittered Hearts to the fans  to add a pop of color contrasting with the black cloth.
Yummy and easy ideas for sweets to serve are mini donuts, heart cookies, cupcakes, popcorn, Chocolate Covered Heart Pretzels and Little Debbie Zebra cakes.
To make the cupcake toppers, I glued the Zebra Confetti and Heart Glitter Shapes together on a toothpick.
To keep with the wild theme, I served the popcorn in this cute Valentines Popcorn Box and sweet favors like Chocolate Lips, Heart Shape Pops and Zebra Print Buttermints were tucked inside Mini Treat Boxes.
I used the Zebra party supplies that included plates, napkins and cups and Heart Chalkboard Stickers as place cards on our table setting.
To add a Valentines feel to the table, I added the Wild About You Paddleball Games , Wild For You Favor Bags and a mix of Heart Confetti and  Zebra Confetti
Another cute favor that goes with the Wild For You theme are the Heart Pendants Necklaces. So cute!
I am a true believer that having a Craft Station at a party is a must! Guests can make adorable bracelets using Heart Beads and Animal Print beads.
And don't forget to add some Heart Balloons to your Wild For You Party!! :)
Hope these ideas help you plan a sweet and wild Valentine's Party!

Sweet Valentine's Party Ideas

I fell in love with Dimple Prints FREE Valentine's Printables and I just knew I had to use the set for this shoot! I really like the red, pink and gray combination!
For this shoot, I used my daughter's desk for the sweet table but you can use any other table and still recreate this look.  For the backdrop, I used a foam board wrapped in the Pink Polka Dot Gif Wrap, added the LOVE banner to the center and glued the Light Pink Paper Fans around it.
Some easy and yummy treat ideas for a sweet Valentines are  Marshmallow Heart Pops, Popcorn, and Cake Pops. As for candy, I did a mix of Light Pink Candy and Red Candy.
I love the way that the Silver Popcorn Boxes got dressed up by using Light Pink Polka Dot  Ribbon embellished with the FREE Valentines Topper Tags.
Even the Light Pink and Red Rock Candy  got fancy by adding Heart Food Picks and Silver Polka Dots Ribbons to them!
I made the cake pops and decorated them using Mini Hearts Icing Decorations and Mini Heart Sprinkles.
As for favors, a good treat is the Mini Gumballs. They already come inside their own clear plastic cylinder and all you have to do is add a tag and ribbon!
Party City has a great selection of mini glasses from their Mini Tasting Party Collection. For this shoot, I used their Mini Pitchers for the drinks. And of course, they also got a makeover! I added pink mini boa, tags, cute straws and flags!
Another cute favor for girls are Charm Bracelets inside this adorable Paper Lantern Favor Box. They can be used to decorate your table as well!
Other ideas for favors or photo props are Boas, Ponytail Headbands and Body Jewelery.
I took advantage of the beautiful Arizona weather and did the table setting outdoors. I love using Balloons to bring a festive look to a party!  I added Silver, Light Pink and Red Heart Balloons on and around the table. I also added some pink and white paper lanterns to complete the look.

I made the centerpieces using Heart Cutouts glued to Bamboo Skewers and placed them inside a glass vase filled with Pink and Red Gumballs.
Heart Shape Sandwiches and Strawberries Hearts are good choices for a healthy snack.
Have a Valentines Craft Station with Crayons, Valentines Stickers and Heart Foam Shapes for your guests to create their own Valentines cards for their family and friends.

Be Mine Valentine's Party

The inspiration for our Valentine's Party this year came from Paige Simple Studio gorgeous Valentine Day Collection. I just loved the color scheme that Kristen used on her designs. I found the bird ornaments on clearance at Walmart from 10cents each and knew I had to use them as backdrop/centerpiece for the party. As always, I tried to keep the desserts simple but cute and yummy. I bought store bought goodies and dressed them up. I transformed the Valentine's Cake into a Heart cake pop and the fancy cakes got a little fancier by drizzling some pink chocolate and heart sprinkles. They also enjoyed popcorn, heartmallows, white brigadeiro, chocolate covered fortunate cookies and heart shaped sandwiches. As for activities, the children made cute "Be Mine" bracelets and Valentine's mailboxes. The children made Valentine's messages for each child and "delivered" them inside their mailboxes.

The weather was perfect and the children had a lovely time!

Vintage Valentine's Party

For sometime now I have been in love with vintage style, so when Bird from Bird's Party contacted me asking if I would like to style a party using their new Vintage Love Birds printable, I was in heaven! Bird designed the most adorable printables that match exactly with what I had in mind.

DECOR
We had an outdoor party since the weather here in the Phoenix area has been so beautiful for the past few days. For most of the props, I already had them around my house, but I did hit a few thrift shops to find small treasures for my sweets table. The gorgeous vintage ribbon garland was made by Nancy from AtoZCelebration. I used one of my trellis to hang some mason jars filled with silk pink hydrangeas as a backdrop for my cupcake table.

DESSERT/FOOD
I used the desk from my daughter's room to display all the yummy treats. When I think of Valentine's day, flowers and chocolate come to mind instantly! So I tried to have treats that was chocolaty. Some treats include chocolate bonbon(from Brazil), dark fudge kettle corn, oreo cakesters, strawberry chocolate filled marshmallows, love birds chocolate cupcakes and chocolate dipped puffs. Most of the goodies were store bought and I just found ways to make them look more festive!
I also had some healthy snacks like whole wheat love bird sandwiches and vegetables shots. All of the children followed the rule that they needed to eat healthy before they attacked the sweets!
I set up a large table for the girls to sit while they enjoyed the treats. I made a flower for the table's center piece out of soda cans and I also made the cute DIY vintage napping rings. The girls were trilled that they were able to use the real napkins!! I found brand new lace napkins at my local thrift shop for 30c a piece!
ACTIVITIES
Because this was a party for two different age groups(ages 8 and 12), I had 3 activities for them to choose from. The most popular one was "Steal my heart game", where the children started by removing hearts from a bowl using only their chopsticks, and then placing the candies in front of them. When time is up, the player with the most candy hearts wins. We also had a "Make a Valentine's Bracelet " and "Make You're Beary Special frames".
PARTY FAVORS
The children took home the bracelets that they made inside cute metal tins that were embellished using bird's printable, DIY pillow favor boxes and pink organza bags filled with kisses, M&M's and Hershey's Miniatures.
I also used the printable scrapbook papercupcake toppers, printable cut-outs and editable buffet cards from the collection to embellish the dessert table items like the white frames, the cupcakes, the wooden birds and the doily banner.
