Coin Keeper Vase

This is a really cool project I did over the weekend! While I was cleaning up the junk drawer in my kitchen, I found a lot of coins from different countries. Coins from Argentina, Brazil, Panama, Costa Rica and Chile. While living overseas, my husband had the chance to visit many countries in the South America for business. I did visit Argentina and Brazil. Both Beautiful countries!! Anyway, back to the project! :)

Material: A glass vase(I had this old wine bottle sitting under my sink cabinet for months now), a bunch of coins from anywhere, several pieces of ribbons, a silk flower and a glue gun! That is all you need!!
So easy and fast!

Glue the ribbons using the hot glue to the back of the coins. Use different sizes of coins with different size and colors of ribbons.

cut ribbons with different lenghts
Glue all the ribbons to a small piece of ribbon.

Next, glue a thicker piece of ribbon around the neck of the vase and glue the ribbon with all the coins to the vase.

Take the silk flower apart and layer the petals together and secure with a small brad. Glue a coin to the center.

Glue the flower to the vase.

It looks pretty nice sitting on my kitchen counter!
